After graduating from RMIT with a Bachelor of Science (Biotechnology)(Dean’s Scholar) with First Class Honours at the end of last year, Chayla was accepted and awarded an RMIT PhD Scholarship where she will continue her research alongside the Gelmi Group.

Chayla will begin her PhD candidature in March 2024, with a research focus on the biomechanical response of stem cells to external stimuli using BioAFM.
